Filmed in one day, the Dollar Shave Club piece is a glimpse into the possibility of how an unknown brand can impact the thinking (and buying habits) of people overnight.
The video has garnered over 4.5 million views and caused men to consider not only a new brand for their razor but an entirely new method (home delivery) for getting their blades on a monthly basis.
Further, a bevy of product review videos have resulted. Some of these (see below) have received close to 50k views…pretty impressive.
